TEXAS COWBOYS FOREMEN

Much like his namesakes of old, the Texas Cowboys Foreman takes on a crucial leadership role, serving as the organization’s student president.

Each Foreman is elected by a vote of the membership during the spring semester and serves a one-year term. The Foreman acts as a liaison between the student organization, the University of Texas, and the alumni organization. He coordinates official representation activities, fundraising events, and day-to-day operations. Additionally, his duties include agenda-setting of the organization’s weekly meetings, execution of elections, and heading the executive committee. Just as the Foreman’s leadership and organizational skills were essential for the success of cowboy posses in years past, they are so for the Texas Cowboys today.
